🎄In Denmark people generally wait until the day before Christmas Eve on “Little Christmas” to put up their Christmas tree. They do this because they use actual candles on the tree, so the tree can’t be dry at all. Then Danes keep all the Christmas gift hidden and put them under the tree after Christmas Eve dinner. While most years we celebrate Danish Christmas, I always go the American way by setting up the tree at the start of December and use string lights, to enjoy it that much longer.
