🖤Reason number one million that Danish is an extremely hard language to master.. words that are spelled nearly the same and sounds almost identical, have radically different meanings. Here is a prime example: død (dead) and døv (deaf) sound exactly the same to me. I literally cannot hear the difference. Rune’s family dog is quite old now and is deaf. Without fail, every time we speak to the dog (Freddie) my mother in law says “han er døv” he is deaf.
