πŸ‡©πŸ‡°πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ*Dual Citizenship Update* It take 9 years in Denmark to qualify for citizenship, which is what I’ve been working towards. I recently found out a new exception to the rules applies to me. Because I’ve been in Denmark for 6 years and married for 5, I’m eligible for citizenship NOW πŸ˜† In order to become a naturalized citizen I need to have danish as good as a Dane and pass a very difficult exam on Danish history, society, and current events. The citizenship exam is only offered twice a year. My goal is to take both exams in June. I’ve added two extra evenings a week of Danish language courses + will take a danish history class (in Danish). I already started my language courses- I need to know Danish inside and out, to demonstrate my commitment and loyalty to Denmark. Ah I’m nervous but so excited for the next 8 month citizenship prep πŸ˜… #daneintraining #herewego #dualcitizenship https://ift.tt/2JuO2MD
