In reality it has been a long, hard, but wonderful journey to get to this point of almost eight years together as a multicultural couple🇩🇰🇺🇸 We had no idea how to navigate being a couple from two completely different worlds. But we always took it one day at a time. Only six months after we met in Denmark, it was time for me to move back to the United States. After I moved back to Montana, we did one year of long distance. With an eight hour time difference it was tough, but we got creative. We would have date nights via FaceTime where we would make the same food together or watch a movie together on video chat.
